marky1011 Posted April 23 Posted April 23 Hi folks. I require an electrical safety inspection to satisfy a mortgage query. Said electrician must be NICEIC registered. Property is located near Lockerbie and about 15 mins north of Gretna. Any recommendations? TIA
ProDave Posted April 23 Posted April 23 Suitably qualified is NOT limited to NICEIC, there are other competent person schemes including SELECT in Scotland.

Alan Ambrose Posted April 23 Posted April 23 (edited) Rated people and about £99 should cover it - but the money is made from fixing the faults. Edited April 23 by Alan Ambrose

It makes my blood boil when a blinkered institution like this will only allow you to use one of them. It has to be either ignorance, which needs challenging, or the NICEIC are somehow "encouraging" them to only accept NICEIC contractoes. 1
