marky1011 Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Hi folks. I require an electrical safety inspection to satisfy a mortgage query. Said electrician must be NICEIC registered. Property is located near Lockerbie and about 15 mins north of Gretna. Any recommendations? TIA
ProDave Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Suitably qualified is NOT limited to NICEIC, there are other competent person schemes including SELECT in Scotland.

It makes my blood boil when a blinkered institution like this will only allow you to use one of them. It has to be either ignorance, which needs challenging, or the NICEIC are somehow "encouraging" them to only accept NICEIC contractoes. 1
