Build #2 engineer required *SER*

Hello strangers

Starting to put things in place for build number 2. I hope not to make the same mistakes again!  Looking for a engineer who has experience in insulated raft/ icf (basement and above ground) / steel framed roof/ lewis plate flooring and poured concrete staircases. It would make life much easier  if they where based in Scotland and can sign of a SER certificate.  Any recommendations welcome.

I can PM you the details of the chap / company I just used. Was an ICF build, basement, swimming pool etc and a very complex arrangement which he dealt with very well.

We used Cameron Ross in Aberdeen, ICF build insulated raft. No issues.

 

Note not a Passive raft, good luck finding anyone willing to come to Aberdeenshire to do that, unless things have changed a lot in the last few years.

My ICF chap travels wherever, the caveat is you have to pay the expenses / accommodation costs but they’re a good bunch and are very proficient with raft / ICF / modern build methods so most agree it’s a “hidden value” which they accept. They do the groundwork’s for me too if I ask nicely lol. 🍻
