Shower running hot then cold

Hi

Tenants have been in a week and flagged up the shower is running hot then cold and so on, pressure drop too.

It's a combi boiler but not that old.

Don't want to be ripped off by plumber so what could be the issue?

Do the hot water taps do the same thing?

 

Any pressure drop on cold taps?

If its just the shower going hot and cold I would be looking at a new shower cartridge. If all taps then hot water plate heat exchanger blocked

Combi - they aren't flushing the toilet, running taps elsewhere, got the dishwasher on? That would be my start point.

@thetdog666 'plate heat exchanger blocked'.....is that expensive to fix. Just so I know if they coma back with that scenario

price up part online. You can put stuff into clean them but may block up again. If it is your plate then maybe a system flush is needed to so it doesn't happen again. Hope its just your cartridge
