Mike Wynn Posted January 27 Posted January 27 I am considering changing my existing stable block to a holiday let via change-of-use. It would be my intention to keep the existing footprint of the building, purely renovating the existing building. Would I please be able to get some advice on what information/surveys the council are likely to ask for? It is my understanding that as it is a change of use, ordinarily we would be able to miss out some steps compared to a full application, however as it is in an AONB I am unsure.
Russell griffiths Posted January 27 Posted January 27 If you need any advice we used a good planning consultant in Cirencester pm me if you need them. 1
kandgmitchell Posted January 28 Posted January 28 A change of use in planning terms will still require a "full" planning application. Your council may well require various reports etc to support the application. If you look on their planning website under "validation" many Councils list what they require to be submitted against the type of application being made. You'll also need a Building Regulation full plans application. 1

Its right there on your doorstep so to speak. The LPA's own website. Search for every similar application in the last two years or so. Read them carefully. List the surveys required. Look at the local maps. Compare. There's yer answer. 1
