LVT Flooring in a bathroom

Hi all

 

I have had glue down herringbone LVT put into an upstairs bathroom.  The installation was SP101 plywood screws down, then a feathering screed, the LVT.  

 

After installation, I noticed a few small gaps, the installer said that due to not every piece being perfectly the same size you can end up with gaps, unfortunately. But also stated that it should be fine as long as the water is quickly moped up, what is everyone else's experience with this?  Would you recommend trying to fill the gaps with some sealant?  Any help/advice would be appreciated.   Thank you

I’ve laid quite a bit of this stuff over the years As with other flooring there should be a perimeter gap 5 mil The pieces should fit tight together No gaps My hues is that he’s started out of square Telling you to quickly mop up water quickly is ridiculous This stuff should be bombproof

Fitted some Parador LVT at home https://www.doorsandfloors.co.uk/parador-trendtime-5-mineral-black-spc-rigid-click-vinyl-flooring.html in 10m x5m kitchen around an island and at the end of the room small gaps appeared. Relaid it and fits perfectly.

The fit is exact though so any gaps indicates incorrect fitting. 

As @nod says, 5mm expansion gap.
