Kill me, just kill me. You could have saved yourself a lot of the intermediate work by just saying the same thing earlier in the build by making shadow gaps instead of skirting and architraving. I spent all day on Wednesday fitting 1 piece of dry lining pboard around 2/3 of a door frame with its shadow gap beading in the Garden room. Lucky there are only three doors and two windows in there. The main house has 9 doors and 11 windows on the whole skirting and architraving feels like it would be less work.
