LaChab Posted Monday at 14:52 Share Posted Monday at 14:52 Hi, I'm planning to use EWIPro 225, 333 and 076 on our eps blocks. I just wondered whether it's necessary to rasp and or wash the blocks first, and whether we should use 310 primer first under the 225. The blocks are about 6 months old, so not dusty yet. Thanks for reading.
ChrisJ Posted Monday at 18:46 Share Posted Monday at 18:46 (edited) I don't know the product you are using but any that I have used all requiring rasping The block maybe clean but its also got too smooth a surface so the base coat will not adhere and be loose and potentially fall off And even tho only 6 months old I can assure you there is some UV damage and a light film on it, rub your hand across it and you will see it on your hand but maybe not visible to see Edited Monday at 18:47 by ChrisJ
Conor Posted Monday at 18:48 Share Posted Monday at 18:48 Leave that up to your renderer. All of our walls were rasped.
