Adey65
I'm a keen chicken keeper who is always messing around with bits of timber building stuff for my chucks. I'm looking at installing metal roofing sheets on top of osb boards in my chicken run which is attached to the large chicken shed. I'm just looking for some advice really. The shape of the run is like the one below, albeit a bit bigger.
JohnMo
Have you thought about using solar PV panels. Move so you have one side of roof facing east the other west. 2m2 of PV is about £50 to £60

Basically the chickens got hung by their feet with metal clamps, then they got dragged down the shute into the water, which was electrified. We gave the job to the only vegetarian, life was different in the late 70s.
saveasteading
Not osb. It absorbs the damp then fails. You could screw of wire tanalised battens to the frame, top, middle bottom, then screw the panels to that. This then becomes a kite / glider so you have to spike it down very firmly.
