Integrated air-source hot water system

This is my 2nd post here, but this time I was keen to see if anyone has any experience with this system by Rointe...

https://rointe.com/uk/water-heaters/dalis-pro-air-source-heat-pump/

I really like the concept at it if it works as it claims then it is perfect for my needs, but is there anything I should know? Any downsides? It will need to be able to run 2 showers at the same time, or fill a bath and will also provide hot water to the kitchen.

Thanks for any insight.

It's an unvented cylinder heated by an integrated heat pump. Avoid enameled cylinders as you have to manage can anode (the one you linked. Get one in stainless. Plenty about.

Make your self aware of reheat times as these can be quite long.

How much! Didn't realise they were that stupid expensive.

210L direct cylinder £500 and charge with heat for 10 years free on E7, or about 6 years on standard rate, for the same price as it cost just to buy the Mixergy unit. Why would you bother. Could do the maths on payback, but would longer than the heat pump would last.

Just replied on the the other thread about this.

Much better to find other ways to reduce the primary usage, rather than use technology to reduce usage.
