Jilly
I’ve just discovered the possibility of airtight paint. The conversion we did didn’t do a brilliant job at air tightness, so can I redecorate with an airtight paint to improve things? Or have I misunderstood? Can anyone recommend a specific product? Conor
It's for covering small areas that are difficult to tape or membrane, not painting rooms. It's more like a liquid rubber.
Jilly
Thank you. So it would be ok for wall/ceiling junctions? I’m thinking round the ceiling downlighters might benefit too
MikeGrahamT21
Soudatight dries like stretchy paper, paints over easy enough, but the fibres that are in it to give it strength tend to clump together, and you can see it through the paint, not the end of the world but if your after a good finish
