Does anyone have a recent copy of pdf SPONS they could let me have? I have one from a few years ago, but prices of labour and materials have changed a lot, especially in the past year

SPONS is only a rough finger in the air guid So the one that you have will do the job

I used a 3 year old spons as a matter of course because it is generally high. That's for cost, and then it would get my margin on it.

Once I had to  tender on the basis of using spons so that the job could start in 2 weeks.   I applied minus 20% if I recall. It went well.

But generally it is a good try, useful fof a few items, but not to be used as a matter of course.

A friend of ours has completed his third and last SB He’s a director of a QS company and said Spons isa waste of money
