Bryera Posted November 19, 2024 Author Posted November 19, 2024 Sorry that meant to say rubbish plaster my phones changed it 🤦🏻😂 so a thin bit of ply over the top of the RUBBISH SHOT plaster and wallpapering over that keeping the old plaster work tucked away saving me geting it out Framing and plastering just want to cover it but want to know if there would be any complications doing so ?
Russell griffiths Posted November 19, 2024 Posted November 19, 2024 No silly idea, the cost of the plywood would be dearer than getting a plasterer for a day. get all the paper off and make it easy for him. Get a reasonable finish then hang lining paper and paint. 1
Bryera Posted November 19, 2024 Author Posted November 19, 2024 It's the old slats and plaster its just so week all would have to come off to plaster over that and then it would be new frame plaster boards and plaster that seems more money ?
Bryera Posted February 17 Author Posted February 17 I ended up removing the wall and putting up all new and plastering it but this time I got vents in the wall to stop condensation and so far all good 😁👍🏻 1
