gambo
Due to number of issues with getting someone on the roof I'm thinking about running exhaust and intake through soffit. It will also let me clean in from outside through window. Main is issue is the space in soffit so I would want something up to 100mm wide, e.g. 160mm duct to 2x100m vents in soffits. Has anyone done it? Any recommendations for products to fit it nicely in soffit?
Crofter
My MVHR grilles are in the soffits, seems to work well but I can't remember where I got the parts from. Likely the same place as the ducting.
gambo
I think I'll go with tile vents, but now I'm not sure which ones are suitable. I can see ubbink UB19 but in the documentation it says it's suitable for " vent systems where an external pressure test is not required". What does it mean in relation to MVHR? Iceverge
And a selection of appropriate straight sections should work. 220*90 is about the same as 160mm diameter in cross sectional area. I'd prefer soffit vents. Fewer holes in the roof the better.
