Junglejam Posted September 14, 2024 Posted September 14, 2024 Has anyone used floor paint as a finish on their floor? Due to financial constraints, we want to paint our floors with a decent floor paint for sign off, and when we’re ready in a couple of years get the flooring we like. Onto concrete with UFH.
joe90 Posted September 14, 2024 Posted September 14, 2024 I have only used garage floor paint but gives a good hardwearing finish.
Andehh Posted September 14, 2024 Posted September 14, 2024 2 pack epoxy resin is what I use in the garage. Gives a car dealership sort of finish, but it's easy to clean and hard wearing!

The small print on the floor paint tins I looked at said they were not suitable to be applied to screed. So I went for a two pack product.
Andehh Posted September 15, 2024 Posted September 15, 2024 Just FYI though, it's a thin paint so it will show up any imperfections!
