Sarah29
Hi- Could a thought please be offered on this. We are midway refurbishing an old property and we would like to have architrave around our window reveals coming down to meet an oversailing window board.....purely for aesthetics purposes. The plasterer wants to plasterboard/skim bead/skim the window reveals, which sounds sensible. But in this case, how would the architrave work....would it just be glued around the skim beaded window reveal? I've never seen it done like this before but it sounds reasonable unless I'm missing something? thanks! S
nod
You need to fix a timber lining around the reveal before plastering Then put the Arc on the same way as you would for a door
Russell griffiths
just use a good quality no nails type stuff, hold in place with a bit of masking, or stick a couple of pins in it if you have anything to nail to
