Janice Posted August 19, 2024 Posted August 19, 2024 Help! Does any body know what's happened to the window. Thanks in advance, Janice
ProDave Posted August 19, 2024 Posted August 19, 2024 One of the panes is cracked and that has allowed moisture to get between the panes. The glass unit needs replacing.

Marvin Posted August 19, 2024 Posted August 19, 2024 It appears to be the inside pane and not the outside pane, so something in the room may have caused the crack.
LowCarbonLiving Posted August 23, 2024 Posted August 23, 2024 Glass units spontaneously crack all the time. When they crack when still fairly new, it's usually either a manufacturing defect or transport damage. In older windows, it's often heat (differential expansion) distorting the glass and the frame materials unequally. There's a reason why windows on an airplane are round.
