Cleaning the blues

Good Morning all

 

I am now looking to clean up my blue bricks round the bottom of the house, they have quite a bit of mortar and some render paint (see attached photos)

 

Could anyone recommend the best way (cleaning stuff/tools/brushes) to get these cleaned up the best I can

Brick acid and a stiff brush.  Gloves and glasses.

+1. I made a mess of mine, and brick acid worked a treat. As Mr Punter says, don't skip the PPE.

Usually 150mm to dpc, looks like only 75mm
