richo106
Hi All I will be looking to submit my VAT reclaim (for a conversion - property empty over 10 years) around the end of May I started this 2 years ago and have all my invoices numbered and in a folder - they will all need photocopying anyway as they don't return the paperwork. I have now seen it can be done online now and by post, what is best way to do it? What are the timescales like for receiving the money back in your bank? Many Thanks
newhome
I think it’s personal choice but as a preference I prefer to do as much as I can online. They do return the invoices (and other supporting documentation) however.

nod
We posted recorded and sign for last time We also made copies of all the invoices Which was the most difficult part of our vat claim So monotonous We will probably do the same this time Unless they will except photo copies of the invoices
richo106
Thanks all for the comments, very helpful as always! I think I may stick with the post method as I have done 90% of the work and filled in my sheet as I have gone along What are the expected time scales of the refund? Many Thanks
