Foil tape recommendations

As part of the VCL we are taping the joints between the sheets of PIR on the ceilings. 

 

I picked up some 50mm foil tape from Screwfix but it’s utter rubbish - it peels straight off the foil of the insulation ..!

 

Does anyone have any good recommendations of where to get decent 75mm or 100mm foil tape that is actually sticky..?

do you mean real aluminium or Mylar?

I bought several rolls from C&A Building Plastics with some polycarbonate sheets. It was very sticky, couldn't get it off once stuck down. It was a few years ago though.

Another vote for the stuff from C&A Building Plastics.  I too bought a roll to seal the ends of some twinwall polycarbonate sheet around 15 years ago, and it's still doing the job OK.
