flanagaj
Planning on having both polished concrete and wooden floors in our build. Initial plan was to have a conventional slab with the ufh in the slab, but this would mean having different floors levels in the slab to accommodate the wooden floor. So how do you achieve for example, a polished floor in the kitchen and entrance hall, which then seamlessly switches to an engineered wooden floor which is at the exact same height? nod
For both you will need a traditional slab or block and beam The polished concrete will go down like a screed afterwards The timber floor can be easily matched as a floating floor
