KayleyH
We are at the stage of putting in the underfloor heating for our extension. Have considered nu-heat and polypipes but wondered if anyone has any recommendations. Many thanks.
JohnMo
I got all my bits from Outsourced Energy, all good quality stuff at a decent price when I purchased.
Bonner
Wunda here, seems good quality and works well. I went for standard controls now changing to smart stuff so would recommend installing smart in the first place

With UFH don't see any need to complicate what can be a very simple system. 4 hours ago, KayleyH said: putting in the underfloor heating for our extension Assume you have radiators elsewhere, if so you need a mixer valve. Do yourself big favour and invest in an IVOR mixer. Far superior to most the rubbish being sold. Accurate temperature settings, adjustable spill back and mixing rates. Alan Ambrose
Can I ask - is there much of a difference between having all the actuators open and no actuators? This is the IVOR mixer? https://underfloorparts.co.uk/product/ivar-uni-mix-underfloor-heating-ufh-pump-mixing-kit-underfloor-heating-manifold-control-unimix/
JohnMo
1 hour ago, Alan Ambrose said: This is the IVOR mixer? Yes, there are two versions available normal temp and low temp. Well insulated and passive would require low temp just about anything else normal. 1 hour ago, Alan Ambrose said: Can I ask - is there much of a difference between having all the actuators open and no actuators? No, except to have the actuator open implies you paid for them and required wiring centre. None in place and pump wired to thermostat, could be cheaper and simpler if you don't need to buy in the first place.
