Underfloor heating flow meter stuck at 2 L/min

Hi,

 

I’d appreciate any advice please. 
 

I’ve just noticed that one of the flow meters on my Maincor underfloor heating manifold is always at 2 L/min even when I’ve turned the heating off. All other flow meters move back to 0 when the heating is off and down to 2 when I switch it back on. Any ideas what this means? Do I need the plumber urgently?

It means your system probably wants a good flush.  That flow meter is literally stuck with gunge and is not obviously reading true.

Thanks ProDave. It’s only 6 months old. Does that mean it wasn’t flushed properly when it was commissioned? We also have lots of cool patches, not only in this zone but throughout, so I’m thinking the guy who installed it might not have done a good job.
