Masonary Drill bit for right angle adaptor ????

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys

I need to drill into masonary in a tight space( replace a WC cistern thats built in as it happens) so i bought the adaptor you see below.

DEWALT Right Angle Drill Adaptor, 2-in-1 Attachment (DWAMRAFT)

A normal round drill bit is not suitable for this. So my question is... have a screwed up or is there a drill bit that is suitable for this quick grip attachment?

Thanks in advance

while you can certainly get drill bits with a 1/4" hex mount few are for masonry. Bosch Multiconstruction bits or similar will do it, but as you've no hammer action to assist it'll be slowish going

or here's a yellow option if you prefer
