Post and beam Posted December 9, 2023 Posted December 9, 2023 Hi Guys I need to drill into masonary in a tight space( replace a WC cistern thats built in as it happens) so i bought the adaptor you see below. DEWALT Right Angle Drill Adaptor, 2-in-1 Attachment (DWAMRAFT) A normal round drill bit is not suitable for this. So my question is... have a screwed up or is there a drill bit that is suitable for this quick grip attachment? Thanks in advance keith
dpmiller Posted December 9, 2023 Posted December 9, 2023 while you can certainly get drill bits with a 1/4" hex mount few are for masonry. Bosch Multiconstruction bits or similar will do it, but as you've no hammer action to assist it'll be slowish going https://its.co.uk/power-tool-accessories/drill-bits/multi-construction-drill-bits/ or here's a yellow option if you prefer https://www.amazon.co.uk/Dewalt-Multi-Purpose-Pieces-DT60099-QZ-Shock-Proof/dp/B01JYO15B0/
