Has anyone tried one of these or know anything about it?  I have looked for some figures into how much power it uses but cant seem to find anything.  It just says how good it is.  Currently selling for £50ish, depending on how many you buy.

I'm wondering if its any good.

It's an electric fan heater.  If it uses half the electricity of  another heater it will take twice as long to heat the room and cost exactly the same.

 

If you want an electric fan heater, just buy the cheapest one you can.  Trying to claim it is more efficient than others is snake oil.

Unlike a normal fan heater, which you can position to blow air directly at you (or at wherever you want), these go directly into a socket so they are less convenient.  All electric heaters are 100% efficient in converting electricity to heat, the only difference if in getting the heat to go where you want it and I imagine that would be awkward with these things.  AVOID.
