WoodshedFred
Hi, I've been lurking here for quite a while, but thought it was about time I introduced myself! I'm a retired electronic engineer, and for my sins I'm converting, with the help of my wife, an old Victorian era pub in Northumberland to residential. Total floor space is about 420m2 over 2 floors. We started on this epic journey in August 2019, and having peeled back decades of quick fixes and shoddy work we are now at the stage of having completed the major structural repairs and rework. We're now starting on the internal fitout, with a goal of making the building as energy efficient as our budget allows. My main focus right now is specifying the insulation, heating and ventilation systems. I'd like to say a huge thank you for all the knowledge I've gleaned from prior posts, and I hope to be a bit more engaged in the forum going forwards! Best of luck to everyone with your ongoing projects, Chris
SteamyTea
Welcome. At least with a pub you normally get a decent sized parking area.
