External Lighting - Sealing

Good Morning

 

I have had to drill a few holes through my external walls to allow for installation of my outside lights

 

I will be using my airtight foam and some tape to make it as air tight as possible internally

 

What would be the best thing to use to seal in from the external side before I mount the light fitting? Could i use air tight foam or would clear silicone be better?

 

I know this is a basic question but just want to make sure its done correctly

Outdoor acrylic sealant (aka window frame sealant). I wired up the fitting then filled the conduit hole with sealant and fitted the light etc.
