Hi all

 

Been following forum daily for over a year and thought I'd join up. I must confess I am not currently building but it's my dream and I love learning more about it in the hope of doing it some day.

I heartily wish I'd done what you have: joined a group like this years before I needed to. Preparation time is never ever wasted

What do you do for a living, is it related to building, not that it matters?

Thanks toighbuttercup it's not my nature to be ahead of things lol but it is like a hobby to me so I guess was just intuitive to join up

Hi steamytea no nothing hands on at all, I took up that sort of thing long after school so just do it all in my free time and learn off YouTube and books. Really into welding at the minute. I am a trainee solicitor

Not law, though I had to study it at university.

I currently pretend to be a chef.  It is the only consistent work in Cornwall.
