JEG8
Evening, I've knocked through to create a kitchen/ dinner. This has all been signed off and I've come to prep for laying the laminate floor. There has been a lot of self levelling compound used near where the wall used to be and as I was taking off the high spots and noticed it sounded really hollow. Further investigation has found that it looks as though the gap between two concrete slabs has been back filled with bits of brick a a weak mix. Have put the flooring on hold to resolve this issue, with the plan being; Chop out remaining strip Lay a DPM Fill with concrete. What are peoples thoughts on this? Thanks for thoughts and advice James
