Dan1983
Evening all, Quick question if that’s ok. Our en-suite shower trap is fairly low profile with only approx 50mm of water sitting in the trap. Over a period of 2 weeks the trap tends to empty enough to allow smells into the bathroom. We don’t use the shower in the en-suite so could this all be normal? Looking at the soil vent pipe in the loft, the en-suite pipe has a vent cap on where as the main bathroom is piped to a vent tile in the roof. We have a vent tile on the en-suite side of the roof so not sure why this was never used. Take it the vent caps should flow fine not to cause siphon issues? Many thanks for any pointers
