Reasonable quote for UFH manifold and room thermostats supply and instal

Company A is installing our insulated slab and UFH pipe network. I am proposing to use our ASHP installer to connect up the network and get it working with the heat pump and tank etc. The issue is that the ASHP installer is proposing £1500 for the manifold itself and to connect up and instal room thermostats. This all for a relatively modest ground floor system. This sounds a lot of money to me but welcome others' thoughts? thanks

There are a lot of variables, number of loops, length of the loops, number of zones etc.

I paid £1300 for the materials to install UFH in our house (approx 60m2 at 150mm centres). I did everything up to the manifold and our plumber connected the manifold to the boiler when he was fitting it, I don't think he charged any extra for that. We then got our Spark to install the stats, which probably worked out at around £50 each stat.

Biggest lesson I learned was that I shouldn't have installed so many zones. I quickly reduced it all back down to a single zone again so the actuators and all but 1x stat was wasted money.

I did the same. A single zone is less likely to need a buffer either.

£1500 just for the manifold seems excessive. But maybe I'm missing something. He possibly doesn't want to finish someone else's job. It maybe better to get the plumber installing the pipe network to complete the whole UFH install, manifold and leak test. If anything isn't correct, you will end up with two parties saying it's the others fault otherwise.

Ivar manifold is around £150, Ivar mixing station and pump if required a further £270. Then a days labour to connect and leak test.
