Code 4 or Code 5 Lead?

Hi All,

 

For valleys and around chimney flashing do I go with code 4 or code 5 lead. This is for new build? I know code 5 is more expensive but it's what's right for the job end of day I guess. I wonder whether regs has a minimum code

I’ve just finished installing 60 meters of valleys Code 4 is fine for virtually everything 

Though I got my mate to make me a tray for the chimney and he advised code 5

Just a tip if you font already know

Dont put membrane under the lead It can cause issues with condensation 

Building paper is needed

Valleys should be done in code 5.

Front and back aprons on chimneys should be code 5 while side flashing can be 4.
