chipswitheverything
Hi all. Just to say hello. I'm a self builder in North Wales. Converted a couple of churches. Blah blah blah... Have a question about a pergola. I have an existing stone wall that is 450mm thick and 900mm high which is rendered. I want to build a column of concrete on top 2000mm high to support a pergola. 6m2. I know your all going to say I don't know what the wall can support as I have no idea about foundations etc. But........ I was hoping someone out there would say they'd just go ahead. Its just a pergola roof no tiles etc just 11 joists. There will be two other pillars and the other side will be attached to the house Thanks in advance. chipswitheverything
Lol. I'm not religious either. The church in Wales and UK are selling loads. I think the pri e has gone up over the years but still they make great homes. Just need drylining and shed loads of insulation. You can even buy now with no covenants.
