Ralph
It was blowing a hooley from the north last night and apart from highlighting just how many Cedral boards I need to mastic down I did notice cold air blowing in through the light switch on the external wall. I'm assuming it's coming around the cables that go to the external lights which is located on that wall. Hopefully I can get to the hole by taking off the light and not the Cedral to squirt in some Illbruck Pro Foam in. Is it fair enough to do the same around the switch's back box or should I be using something else? Thanks Ralph
ProDave
This highlights the importance of sealing every single penetration through the air tight envelope of the building as you make them. So much easier to fix then than near the end.

And if you are using trades remember the Russian proverb "Doveryai, no proveryai" "trust, but verify"
