dogman Posted July 2, 2017 Share Posted July 2, 2017 @Barney12 we used slate hooks on the main roof and nails on the lower roof with slate. Did it ourselves so can confirm i had no nail bounce across most of the roof. The only place i had a slight bounce was at the very edge of the eaves ladder and on some of the ends near the valleys.
