luk4sh31
Hello. I was wondering if someone could tell me what to use to get stone cladding on dormer? The old pebble dash finish was taken down and I got to the plywood. I cover the plywood with the tyv3c membrane and wanted to do the faming for the board I could use to get the cladding install. I want also to keep that gap for ventilation purpure. What will be next step to get the cladding on? than you
Russell griffiths
Ventilation gap, batten cement board, cladding. But. I still wouldn’t do it, you need to look at the weight of the cladding, the load the cement board can take and all sorts. Go for a cement based plank or upvc, that area of the house will get all sorts of weather chucked at it, not a place for stone in my opinion.
