Hello. I have new valley installed last year for extension and the roofers put membrane on top of the boards before lead work. I was told recnelty that you should not used breathable felt on top of the valleys when laying lead. Can someone else share their views in this matter. thanks

Hello. I was wondering if someone could tell me what to use to get stone cladding on dormer? The old pebble dash finish was taken down and I got to the plywood. I cover the plywood with the tyv3c membrane and wanted to do the faming for the board I could use to get the cladding install. I want also to keep that gap for ventilation purpure. Hello. I'm looking for some clarification. I need to get new valley boards on the dormer valley. The old one was installed on top of the felt. Im aware that the new standard is to cover them boards with membrane. Can someone share pictures or explain how to cut the boards near the dormer facia board so I can cover them with mebrane. thank you

Hello, I have decide to change the slates on the roof but after lifting them up I have notice a number of issues. I was wondering if anyone could share some picture how to waterproof around the dormer and fix the valley issues. I'm surprise that there is no membrane on top of the valley as I have been instructed this is the way to do it. This roof is only 20 years old but I had number of leak near the valley and dormer so I assume this part wasn't done correctly. thank you
