Can a DPC be below internal finished floor level?

DPC installed above external ground level. Can the internal finished floor level be raised above such a DPC?

I’m struggling to understand the question

DPC in pic. 150mm above external ground level. DPM will be lapped/attached to this DPC.

Question: Can the internal finished floor level be higher than this DPC?

As long as there is an uninterrupted barrier for damp blocking, you will be fine.

I can't see the drawing but think the answer is yes.  After all the first floor is always way above the DPC 🙂
