jfb
I have bought a couple of spotlights for the bathroom that are IP44 rated ,240v. It states in the instructions that this is suitable for zone 2 so long as a 30mA RCD is being used. Elsewhere I have read that for zone 2 the lights have to be low voltage in zone 2 with the transformer outside zone 2. Am i ok to use these within 600mm of the edge of the bath? I could put them further than 600mm but it would be a bit weird given the slightly cramped layout.
ProDave
Manufacurers instructions are usually taken as gospel, so if they say it is okay, then use them in that zone.
