Hi. Due to some consideration I'm not going to rip the ashp out!! I have 6kw solar on the roof. So I'm looking 5kw to mybe 6kw in the field, a solar array? Anybody got any tips or ideas.  Looking to generate more kW. To try and cover some ashp usage

does PV work on cold winter nights?

Don't think it likely to work on any night cold or hot, as PV needs sunlight.

If the ground mounted array is over 9 m² you need planning permision.
