Vertical dpc

Hi, I'm hoping someone can help.

 

We are having a two storey rear extension being done. Our bricklayer has done a vertical dpc on the second lift but not on the first?? 

Should the vertical dpc have been done on the first lift as well as the second?

1st and second lift? Brick courses? Stories? And are you talking about a movement joint?

Should there be a vertical dpc running between the inner and out skin all the way down the building to the dpc along the bottom of the building?

DPC and insulation required at the junction of the new and old wall constructions. Normally wall starter kits used or full cavity opened so that the cavities and insulation is continuous.
