WWilts
New build under construction. UFH: Is it sensible to try and heat different parts of the same open plan area to different temperatures? ie > 1 thermostat for different parts of the open plan area eg. In pic, mid left is dining, which is part of the open plan kitchen/dining area. Sensible to have 2 thermostats on the basis that the kichen/breakfast bar will be in frequent use while the dining area less so?
JohnMo
Single zone, if you are well insulated a single zone for the whole floor. The whole system is likely to come on once per day and unlikely to cause any short cycling of the heat source.
Conor
There's no point, it'll all end up the same temperature. You can tune the flow rates of each loop if you find some areas are too warm or too cool. We've the ground floor as a single zone.
