Linto Posted March 8, 2022 Posted March 8, 2022 Has anybody had inframe blinds installed on their Auraplus windows? Were looking at luxaflex, perfect fit and intu blinds. But these all seem to use the gap between the windows and frame to fit. Looking at the windows there doesn't seem enough space for this, so does anybody have any experience of this or any recommendations for blinds?
ProDave Posted March 8, 2022 Posted March 8, 2022 We had "perfect fit" blinds supplied by the local blind shop. I don't know what make they are, but they certainly fitted okay. The only complaint was they only came in a stock number of colours so we had to choose the closest match, I would have preferred someone that could have supplied to any RAL colour.
Linto Posted March 9, 2022 Author Posted March 9, 2022 Cheers Dave, I think I'm just being over protective of my fancy new windows. Not so bothered by colours as the frames are standard white on the interior, so they should be an ok match.

We're considering Rationel AuraPlus sliding doors - do you happen to know if these "perfectfit" type of blinds would also work for these sliding doors? Have you got them on AuraPlus sliders as well as windows? Just wondered if the seals allow them to clip in the same, and if there's any issues with sliding the doors when in place. Thanks. Any other blind solutions also welcomed!
ProDave Posted February 22 Posted February 22 Sorry for late reply. The internal profile of the AuraPlus sliders is much the same as the normal doors, so it boils down to whether the blind company could make a perfect fit blind wide enough. 1
Rowwlff Posted February 23 Posted February 23 (edited) Thanks for the reply! Not really considered the width as an issue, but I realise now it could well be. Edited February 23 by Rowwlff
