gravelrash Posted March 5, 2022 Posted March 5, 2022 Anyone installed or had experience with Lo-Carbon Tempra/SELV de centralised systems rather than full blown MHVR in passive level property.?
JohnMo Posted March 5, 2022 Posted March 5, 2022 Trouble is how are you going to provide ventilation to living and bedroom spaces? Not the prettiest, in my opinion. To comply with building regs you will need them in every room. They only have two speeds and boost. Have a look at Prana https://ecostream.org.uk/d-mvhr/ They have better features and more adjustable.
Iceverge Posted March 5, 2022 Posted March 5, 2022 It can be done. Lumos units used in the below example. https://passivehouseplus.ie/magazine/upgrade/18th-century-ruin-becomes-stylish-low-energy-home However will likely be noiser, more expensive, provide poorer heat recovery than a ducted unit.
