RAL 7030 stone grey/ or grey suggestion!

Afternoon all,

Could I please ask if anyone here has done this colour on doors or windows?

And what is it like in person?

We were set on elephant grey but had a spray can made up and didn’t really like the colour as had a blue tinge to it.

 

Any other suggestions on the grey spectrum?

Wanting a mid to light grey.

Best to get a colour card, from your paint supplier.  Select a colour you like and get a sample made up.  Try the sample in the area or areas where you intend to paint.  Let it dry before you say yes or no.

 

Colours change in different light, what may look great to me in NE Scotland, may look rubbish with your light.  Good luck

we bought a RAL colour card/chart booklet thingy when choosing colours for things. it cost around £12 from Amazon and has come in quite handy as we can compare colours to come up with a palette.

hit b&q and got some paint mixed.

put a couple of coats on an old window sill so will see how it looks
