Don't do this. You've no idea how much water is in the tank and running an immersion dry isn't smart.

Couple of times, after working on my similar system, I have had an airlock.

Open tap and sucked on it like Stormy Daniels on Donald Trump.

Soon worked again.

Update - it was an airlock.....attempts to blow this through with the cold feed in the bathroom failed miserably. I then remember that we only have mains pressure in the kitchen so tried there and not only managed to avoid soaking myself but cleared the block after a couple of tries.....thats a relief.
