nod
A good friend of mine who is a regional rep for Build Base Came out to site today with news on building products Concrete products set to rise Timber products are falling in price He also mentioned that BB are getting into the heat pump market Even Pasquils who he deals with have reduced quotes from six months ago So not all doom and gloom on the materials front 3
ProDave
I suspect the issue with concrete products is the energy needed to make concrete and rising energy costs.

Exactly Dave He said nothing to do with Covid or Brexit Its environmental restraints He said it’s mind boggling that he can sell ply from Brazil and China can be sold cheaper than OSB from Scotland He thinks 12.5 mil hardwood faced ply will settle around 20 quid when you are buying multiples Scant joists and Roof batons have stayed high But are starting to fall He did say with many Architects specifying Red or Blue roof batons They are overstocked with the plain green treated batons and as a group can now reduce by 20% Its good to here a bit of positive feedback
