Hello. I am converting a circa 1900 cottage 35 miles north of inverness and would be interested in hearing from any nearby members who might be doing something similar.

Given that I am 23 miles by road north of Inverness, I can't be very far from you.

 

I am just finishing up building a new house so not a conversion.  But I am quite familliar with the construction of old cottages around here.

No where near you as I’m in Argyll but slowly renovating two cottages and a steading. the youngest is 120 years old and the oldest is very old…..  just doing it really slowly as time, energy and money permit.

20 miles from Inverness, but the other side of the Firth.. 1880 farm steading.

Proximity doesn't matter, but dealing with similar processes, and to satisfy  the same council, does. Happy to help if I can.
