Ralph
We have our accessable entrance at the front and it meets all the access requiremnts so hopefully no issue there. Do we still need to have entrance platt of minimum 1,200 mm x 1,200 mm at the backdoor? I hoping we can get away with a single slab 1,200 mm by 600mm that will have gravel around it. I've tried to find it in the Scottish Building regs but can't see anything specifically for secondary entrances.
the_r_sole
you only need one accessible entrance, so no one will mind about the back door Edited September 28, 2021 by the_r_sole
Mr Punter
In England there is an optional requirement where you need step free access to any connected outdoor space on the entrance storey but otherwise it is the front door only.
